Women with Passion Members - Claudia
Claudia Kohl
Date of Birth: 16.07.1972
Place of Birth: Vienna, Austria
Nationality: German
Living in Vienna and in Grub in the Vienna woods.
My passion:
To help people connect with their power and to express it freely in an individual and creative way.
The project:
In 1997, while I was teaching the Alexander Technique and dance to some of the artists of Cirque du Soleil I began to develop my own method, called Healing Movement. Healing Movement is a creative movement therapy that reconnects yourself with your body and thus with the rhythm of nature and the power of life. With the help of HM you bring creativity into your daily life. I truly believe that all the answers to a healthier life and world lie within us and it is on us to find the door that leads us to our true self. I love to support people of all ages during this process, especially kids and artists. The project is to run my own practice located near Vienna and to travel to share my experiences on a more global level. As well as expressing my own creativity through my paintings.
One of my future projects is to realize a public “Garden Eden” .
Motivation:
My motivation are the ones that choose to share part of their creative and learning process with me and to see them “shine”.
The experience that we can indeed make a difference when we dare to face our own or other peoples fears and do what we believe in.
The growing flowers, the laughter of kids, watching animals, … and a big hug from a friend.
Obstacles:
The challenge of the old family habit: you are not worth it and don’t think big
Very little money for very big projects
Impact on Society:
To make people aware that creativity is not a “special gift” only “real” artists have but our birthright and the core essence of all living form.
Context of my life:
Passionate student at the “University of Life”: as a dancer, in a conservative business career in marketing, always a nomad, looking for challenge and now speaking my truth and encouraging others to do so, as a trainer for healing movement and an artist.
Motto: - “Living is movement from moment to moment…”
